1430 ESPN To Carry Coyotes Away Gameby Todd Coshow The 2008 af2 season kicks off this weekend and the Central Valley Coyotes are proud to announce that their game will be broadcasted live on 1430 ESPN Radio.
The Coyotes begin their season on the road, March 29th, in Bossier-Shreveport Louisiana. Their host for this contest will be the Battlewings who, after an 11-5 regular season record, made it all the way to the National Conference Championship game in 2007.
Former Cal Bears quarterback Joe Ayoob will get the starting nod for the Coyotes and will bring a strong arm and great mobility to the field. Ayoob also led the Rams of City College of San Francisco to a junior college National Championship in 2003. He was a All-American in 2004 at CCSF.
The 2008 Central Valley squad boasts a sound mixture of rookie and veteran talent. Familiar faces such as Weston Borba and Doug Langenfeld will be roaming the field for the Coyotes, and new players such as Larnell Ransom and Nichiren Flowers are sure to make an impression this season.
Guy Haberman and Bryan Whitmore will have the call for all of Central Valley’s road games, while Haberman and Paul Swearengin will handle the broadcast duties for the Coyotes home games.
The 2008 Central Valley Coyotes are excited about bring fast paced arena football action back to the Valley for a fifth season. Catch every heart pounding play on 1430 ESPN Radio and 790 ESPN2 “The Deuce” all season long.
